This loropetalum did not come to blend in. 🌿
Fronds, if you think you know loropetalum, Jazz Hands Variegated might make you look twice.
The new growth comes out splashed in pink and white, then matures to a deep, rich purple. And because apparently that wasn't enough, it throws out those fun little pink fringe flowers in spring, too.
But here's the really cool part—the variegation gets going as the weather heats up. Yep. A shrub that actually gets more interesting when our Southern summer rolls in. We can appreciate that.
It's evergreen, easy to grow and big enough to make a statement without swallowing the whole garden. Tuck one into a foundation bed, use it as a colorful hedge or plant it somewhere that needs a little more personality.
